Learn how to track and manage changes in the Command Center

Overview

Changes let users track the changes and instructions corresponding to every feature, big or small.

Usually, developing a new feature in Salesforce involves updating a range of metadata types and data. Moreover, tasks and scripts may be involved.

Changes support every metadata type supported by the Metadata API.

You can import changes directly if your source environment is enabled for Source Tracking.

Core capabilities

The Changes page lists all retrievable changes.

The following elements of the changes' table can be altered:

• Automation Status:

  • Active

  • Archived

• Visible Columns

  • Status

  • Created

  • Last Updated

• Rows per page
